For our Foundation it has always been important and prominent to care for and cherish the children’s soul. We have organised meetings with celebrities, visited theatre performances and the cinema, and also visited circus performances, and we have organised sports events for the kids, and gave them gifts on 5 December (Santa Clause’s Eve) and at Christmas Eve.
On the occasion of the Children’s Day, twenty-five children all being on the way to recovery had the opportunity to participate at the event organised collectively by the Foundation and the staff of the OTP Bank Fogarasi Street Branch. We expected the children with exciting programs. First, Viktória Pintácsi, a singer being popular among children, gave a concert. Viktória, as an artist and mother, lived through the importance of this event, since her son also undergone treatments for he suffered from leukaemia. Following the concert the Magician, Rolando gave an interactive show performance making the children and their guardians astonished and smile. The master of tricks not just amazed but also let the curious children to take insight in some of the tricks and the wonderful world of magic. The celebrated children did not leave the program empty handed; we arranged for gift parcels for girls and boys alike, because there is only one thing more important than the happiness of children and it is the happiness of sick children. We hope that the high standard programs and the gifts could cause the children forget about the greatest battle of their lives: the painful treatments of this a merciless disease and the unpleasant memories of staying at hospital.
