The first instance judgement pronounced on 3 March 2014 of the Budapest-Capital Regional Court became final and obliged the Hungarian RTL Television to make rectifications. Magyar RTL Televízió Zrt. accepted the judgement, and they published the rectification in the afternoon news on 14 September 2014 as follows:
• They falsely claimed in their programme entitled News broadcast on 17 January 2014 that according to the website of the Children Cancer Foundation one ill child was transported on an average distance of 655 kilometres.
• They falsely communicated that the Children Cancer Foundation had purchased properties, luxury cars and other assets not serving the purpose of the recovery of ill children against the support arising from the 1% of the personal income tax offered by taxpayers.
