After 15 years of fighting cancer, Roland has finally won.
Roland and his family have got regular support from the Foundation ever since he started treatment, so he has grown from a little boy into an ambitious young man before our eyes.
During his long struggle, Roland lost his father and the painful the loss delayed his recovery. When it appeared he had finally managed to overcome leukaemia, another tumour was discovered, but Roland never gave up. Due to his perseverance and the collaboration of people working for his recovery, he has now been cured.
Roland thanked us in the following letter.

Dear Mr President and Associates of the Children Cancer Foundation,
I would like to thank you for your help over all those years, for providing financial support as well as dietary supplements which were essential for my recovery and helped to alleviate pain and the side-effects of chemotherapy. The financial contribution, which I got every two months for many years, was an enormous help. I could buy what I wanted – so my soul was recovering, too. And of course, Poland! I just loved being in Warsaw at the Onco-Olympics. It was an amazing experience – and then all those gold medals we brought home! And all this because of you and your foundation!
This year I am graduating from secondary school as a financial administrator and then I will see how to proceed. I am very much into body building and CrossFit and have been training hard for two years. I am very successful, so I decided to take part in the Spartan Race, a sport event which is going to be held in Veszprém in April this year. I would like to take the opportunity and invite you to the race because I need your support – without your help, I would never have got as far and would never be in such shape. Thanks to your vitamins, I’m fit now. I would be very happy if you could come. I’m looking forward to meeting you all!
Thanking you again,
